Introverts

No one -- not even your closest friends -- has quite the same interest in your own life as you do. Most of our deepest, most complex thinking will never be shared with the outside world. We are alone within ourselves. Family and community are ways to take our minds off of this overwhelming sense of isolation. Sometimes such diversions succeed and our problems are merged with those of others. Sometimes other minds and other bodies only make the problem of existence more difficult to deal with. Ultimately, we are all introverts.
