On Conformity

Why must every garment worn
Be cut from the same cloth?
  Most every other jacket formed
Be left food for a moth?
Why must all in Heaven and Earth
Be cast from the same mold?
Must every other rock of worth
Be shunned as but fool's gold?
Why must every harvest sown
 Begin with the same seed?
  Must every other flower grown
Be looked on as a weed?
No, the world is a dull enough place
Without all donning the same clown face.
