God Is God Is Not

God is not an individual.

God has no personality.

God is not good or evil. 

God does not get angry or offended.

God does not wish to be worshiped.

God does not hear our prayers.

God is merely what is. 

God is everything and everything is God.

God works through his creation or not at all.

If the scales of justice are not balanced here on earth

they will not be adjusted elsewhere. 

Our hands are God's hands and God's only hands. 

We define truth, we define justice, we define right and wrong. 

It isn't a mystery or a journey or a test. 

Life has no meaning but what is given to it by the living. 

God is nothing but a useful metaphor.
